Course aims
Building upon your progress from the B1.1 course, our B1.2 course is structured to elevate your proficiency in Spanish communication as you explore the intermediate stage of language acquisition. Throughout this course, you will delve deeper into the intricacies of grammar, expand your vocabulary to grasp nuanced subtleties, develop a richer understanding of intercultural dynamics, and enhance your confidence in utilising Spanish in a variety of real-world contexts. By the end of this course, you will emerge with heightened language skills and a deeper appreciation for the Spanish language and culture.
Learn how to:
- tell stories in the present;
- summarise a book or a film;
- understand jokes;
- give advice;
- give instructions and commands;
- describe an advert;
- express wishes, complaints and needs;
- offer solutions to a problem; and
- write a complaint.

- Cohesive devices to tell stories (g., al final, de repente, de pronto, etc.)
- Direct and Indirect object pronouns
- Affirmative and negative imperative forms
- The placement of DO, IO and reflexive pronouns

This course will run using both Google Classroom and Zoom.
Course requirements
In order to make the most of your language learning journey, you will need:
- The book Aula Internacional Plus 3 – Difusión*, which you can purchase here, or via Amazon;
- Some basic knowledge on how to use Zoom and Google Classroom;
- A computer from which you can take the lesson;
- Reliable Internet service;
- A web camera and a functional microphone connected to your device;
- A positive learning attitude throughout the course, coupled with active participation in all class procedures.
